Good Morning! I am resting up here for the fun-filled activities of food family and fun that are in store for us the next few days. I have been very busy supervising the Christmas tree decorating, present wrapping and treat making that the humans have been doing the last few weeks. I think they are all ready to go.

Mom and I  also got a very nice gift from a dear friend of hers that will aid in my transportation – IN THE MINI!!! We got an official Mini Cooper trunk mat, so now I can ride in the car aka “Faith” and mom will not worry about my nails snagging anything in the boot of the car. I will ride in high style! The color just suits me so well!

Happy Sunday everyone! On this day of “rest” I like to take my humans on a very special, very long walk. Today was no exception. I pulled toward the route that would take us to the bridge and my humans obliged. I do usually get my way, but not all the time. The snow kissed scenery en route to the special bridge was beautiful today. This is the bridge where mom and dad first kissed, where dad proposed to mom and where we had the wedding ceremony. I love to visit it frequently. In my old age, I end up staying in my couch the remainder of the day resting, but it is all worth it.

Now with Dad having an iPhone, he can capture some of our great adventures together. I don’t quite get the technology of  the iPhone. I am more in touch with the actions of ipull, ipush, and isleep, but it makes him happy, so I am all for it. Well off to my couch now, my aching body is in need of the special orthopedic support.

Good evening all! We took a nice walk along the path tonight and mom was able to snap this picture as the commuter train went by.  When the train goes by,  I always have the instinct to pull harder, but I have yet been able to keep up with it.  Perhaps if I was pulling a real sled instead of my humans sleds, I would be able to track the train.

One wonderful features about the location of our home is that it backs up to an old train line which was converted several years ago with the Rails to Trails program. It  runs parallel the rear of our home, and since it was an old train line, it always drains really well compared to the sidewalks. The city also plows it when it snows so it is very helpful to my humans so the dont slip. They do not have built in snow shoes like I do!

Yes, I know it is out there. SNOW!!! Move it humans.  Put your outfit on so I can put on mine!

My sled got a new car! After years of wanting a Mini Cooper, and months of careful consideration, mom purchased a Mini Cooper Clubman. Let me just say that I have not been in the Mini yet…. I am not sure if I am going to like it.  I really was ok with the Honda Accord, but it was time to say goodbye and get a new vehicle. The Cooper may just be a tad to sporty for me, but they say I will adapt.  It is very cute and she choose the appropriate color to match my features.   Congrats Mom!

Greetings! We had our first snow a few days ago. It was only a dusting that left us with about an inch, but I know there is more to come!

My season has finally arrived!

Tonight after we had dinner and a short walk, my sled headed down to the basement to work on her crafts. Dad joined her, and I decided I would slowly work my way down the stairs.  As you know, I must supervise what they are doing.  It was the first time I had been in the basement since my hip started hurting me.  I think the low activity level that I have been forced to endure and the medication that the doctor gave me is really helping. I decided to play a short wolf game with my sled, the picture above is the part of the game that Dad captured on his camera phone. Pretty funny!

I can’t wait to play more and pull more.  Paws crossed that my pain continues to disappear!

It is going to take some getting used to… But I definitely belive I will learn to enjoy my new orthopedic bed.
